Today, the Kosovo Manufacturing Club has signed a cooperation agreement with EYE-Enhancing Youth Employment for the implementation of the project for capacity building for export of Made in Kosova products to markets abroad. The EYE project from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is implemented by HELVETAS Swiss Interoperation and MDA.

KMC’s main priority is Kosovo’s sustainable economic development and its inclusion in international markets as part of this development. Kosovar companies have production capacities and are willing to increase these capacities for markets abroad. Data shows that companies that export are more competitive, more productive and are more innovative compared to companies that focus only on the domestic market.

Kosovo as one of the most open economies, its exports have begun to expand into markets which have great potentials, and therefore it is necessary to establish important trade links. Through this project, both parties signing this agreement today agree that within the framework of strengthening the production sector, and it is also important to find new markets for Made in Kosova products.

Astrit Panxha, executive director of the Kosovo Manufacturing Club, said that “Our role is to help Kosovo companies and Made in Kosovo products to have access and succeed in both regional and global markets. KMC has consistently worked to strengthen the manufacturing sector and is already in the process of creating a program that would provide direct assistance and support to companies wishing to export to the markets of North America and the EU, CEFTA countries, including the region of Turkey, as well as markets in the Middle East and North Africa. ”

KMC within this program will provide these services to manufacturing companies such as Export Market Research, Export Strategy, Brand Development, Sales and Marketing Strategies, Inclusion in Fairs, and Preparation of Strategic Documents.
