Kosovo Manufacturing Club has signed a cooperation agreement with Deloitte Kosova to assist with compiling a financial feasibility study for the training centre called KOCME (Kosovo Centre for Manufacturing Excellence). During the following weeks, Deloitte Kosova will develop this study as support for the Training Centre KOCME and thus will contribute to the business community, in particular to local manufacturers.

The main focus of KOCME will be the enhancement of new professional standards for the needs of companies in the field of development and training the skills of the employees, research and design of products, product competition in manufacturing and inclusions of better global practices in regards to learning.

The training centre KOCME will help in creating an environment where it will promote innovation and will play an important role in making Kosovo competitive in regards to investments, focusing in scouting investors with exporting potential.

The Manufacturing Club saw it fit to create this centre taking into consideration the facts that the manufacturing sector has continuously faced difficulties in finding qualified workers for their needs. Because of the lack of investments in professional enhancement in the youth, this centre will help with creating adequate programs which will help match the market. In actuality, the manufacturing center has a deep lack of qualified workers especially in food technology and mechatronics.
