Today, Kosovo Manufacturing Club met with the acting Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Mr. Besian Mustafa, where they discussed general developments in the country’s agricultural sector, sector challenges as a result of COVID-19 pandemic and projects, and the support foreseen for this sector in Kosovo.
During this meeting, the acting Minister Mustafa briefed some of the members of the Manufacturing Club on the objectives and priorities of MAFRD during this period, but also on the design of concrete support programs that will help manufacturers from the sector of agriculture, and will aim the recovery of this sector. Mr. Mustafa pledged to continue to be close to farmers and agro-processors by supporting them to avoid stagnation in the manufacturing and processing sectors.
On the other hand, the members of the Club thanked the Minister in office for the continuous support he has given to agriculture at this time of the pandemic, and expressed their readiness for this cooperation to be further deepened between the two parties.
