The Manufacturing Club has supported and welcomed the decision of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to approve the decision of the Minister of Trade and Industry Mr.Endrit Shala that the products imported from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to be charged on a 100% tax.

The Manufacturing Club supports such a decision given the continuing obstacles that these two countries have made to Kosovo’s products to penetrate into their markets, which greatly damages Kosovo’s producers by making them uncompetitive.

At the same time, Kosovo Manufacturing Club has called on all economic operators not to change the market prices after the adoption of the 100% tax decision for Serbia and Bosnia’s products.

The Manufacturing Club invites everyone to support the country’s interests and protect the citizens, and not to raise the prices when we consider the economic situation of most citizens of Kosovo.

The 100% protection measure of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo should be considered by all economic operators as an opportunity for the economic development and economic strengthening of the country and not as a situation to profit.

The Kosovo Manufacturing Club believes that this decision will protect the interests of local products and is a facilitation for local manufacturers.
