The Kosovo Manufacturing Club reacts to the ban on the movement of goods and workers who are in the cities in the municipalities in quarantine in Kosovo. We call on the incumbent Government of Kosovo, but also the line ministries, the Ministry of Economy, Labor, Trade, Industry, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Investments, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Public Administration to issue an instruction / decision as soon as possible whereas they will clarify all the ambiguities which hinder the movement of the above.
It is critical and the decision should come as soon as possible because many enterprises are blocked and they are unable to move workers and goods in all municipalities that are in quarantine.
The Manufacturers’ Club understands the current situation and the challenge of keeping the situation without panic and isolating the COVID-19 virus as soon as possible, but we urge not to restrict movement for all workers in the manufacturing sector, and we urge everyone to save and support this sector on this time of crisis.
