The Kosovo Manufacturing Club supports the adoption of the decision by the Government of Kosovo on the gradual implementation of reciprocity as a principle in relations with Serbia. This decision obliges that in trade relations with Serbia, the names on phytosanitary certificates and veterinary certificates, together with other accompanying documents, be used in accordance with the Constitution and the legislation in force.

The Manufacturing Club believes in free trade and in regional and European integration, but we also believe that the general principles of international law and various international agreements should be respected in trade relations.

In the following periods it is very important for the Government to monitor the measures and protect the local market with anti-dunping measures and unfair trade practices, given that in the past many Serbian products have entered the Kosovo market subsidized or below the cost of production thus making local producers non-competitive.

We also call on all manufacturers, entrepreneurs and traders to report all barriers they encounter during their activity. This is the web platform from MEPTINIS for addressing and eliminating trade barriers: http://raportobarrierat.rks-gov.net/mainlist.php.
