The Manufacturing Club, were today in a working meeting with the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party in the Assembly of Kosovo, respectively with MPs Mr. Bedri Hamza and Mr. Enver Hoxhaj. During the meeting was discussed the state of manufacturing in the country and the challenges that manufacturers are facing during the pandemic, but also their immediate demands for recovery from this situation.

The Chairman of the Manufacturing Club, Mr. Bashkim Osmani, once again made it known the importance of the recovery package for local manufacturers and demanded an immediate solution to this issue, as it is the economy of Kosovo that is being damaged day by day. Although, during the meeting both parties agreed that the existing package should be supplemented with additional measures.

Also, during the meeting, the director of the Manufacturing Club, Mr. Astrit Panxha, discussed the Manufacturing Resolution, which requires that the manufacturing sector be declared a national interest. This resolution requires all institutions of Kosovo to support manufacturing enterprises, in order to increase their capacity. It also calls for an increase in the budget for the manufacturing sector in order to provide financial assistance to the manufacturing industry.

The Manufacturing Club received the support of PDK deputies regarding the adoption of the resolution, and at the same time they expressed their readiness and openness for further cooperation.
