The Kosovo Manufacturing Club, along with the Union of Albanian Manufacturers, within the Forum of National Albanians Manufacturers, have gathered today in Tirana to discuss about the ‘ demands of manufacturers addressed to the two respective governments.

Executive Director of the Kosovo Manufacturing Club, Astrit Panxha during the press conference addressed the demands of manufacturers, which are related to facilitating trade between these two countries. Mr. Panxha demanded the removal of all barriers for Kosovo manufacturers in Albania and invited all manufacturers to increase their presence in the Kosovo market.

He also added that it is high time for the Albanian state to remove all barriers for Kosovo’s manufacturers, and appealed that on the next meeting of the two governments to discuss the removal of these barriers. He also demanded the presence of manufacturers from Kosovo and Albania should be present in this meeting.

The Chairman of the Forum of National Albanian Manufacturers, Nagip Fejzi added that these requirements should also be applied in trade with Macedonia, where he reminded that the Albanian population who live there may increase pressure and demand the implementation of these demands, without forgetting the valley of Preshevo nor Montenegro.

While Mr. Nikolin Jaka, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tirana, said that these demands that have been presented today have been treated with great care throughout numerous meetings over the last two years. “We are a nation, we are a common economy,” Jaka said.
