This year, Kosovo Manufacturing Club is the co-organizer of the Green Festival, organized by USAID EMPOWER Private Sector in partnership with Sida – Swedish Agency for International Development and Cooperation, and supported by GIZ, Dutch Embassy in Kosovo, ProCredit Bank, TEB ShA and GEFF in Kosovo.
The third edition of the Green Festival will be held at the Sport Hall “1 Tetori” in Prishtina on 19-21, September 2018.
The Green Festival aims to promote the growth of “green” business in Kosovo, advocating for the improvement of the legal policies needed to increase green business, and raise public awareness of the benefits of adopting green practices and technologies. The “green” sector covers a wide range of businesses in dealing with renewable energy, efficient energy and recycling. This sector provides considerable opportunities for job creation and sustainable economic growth in the country.
This year you will have the opportunity to meet more than 40 “green” companies that will present their products and services. Do not miss the opportunity to be part of the “Green Forum” sessions and learn from the local and international experts on trends regarding recycling, energy efficiency and renewable energy. Parallel activities along the Festival will spark the interest and curiosity of visitors regardless of age.
The Green Forum concept is in compliance with the Kosovo Manufacturing Club, where the main objectives are the promotion of “Made in Kosovo” products and in accordance with the Club’s core strategy, which includes employment, economic diplomacy, energy and the environment.
