Kosovo Manufacturing Club (KMC) yesterday organized a meeting with members and club affiliates in honor of the tenth anniversary of Kosovo’s independence. On this occasion, KMC also introduced the two new members of the Club and chose Mr. Benedikt Neymeir as Honorary Member of the Kosovo Manufacturing Club.

The new members who joined KMC are the two companies the Line Group and Oxa Group.

Line Group Company was established in 1990 and as their major activity is the production of structural, semi-structural external doors, windows and facades. Line Group is considered as a very successful company based on the fact of experience and the possession of a highly advanced modern technology for the production of doors and windows with quality materials. Technological opportunities, large production capacities, high professional level of workforce, ranks Line Group company to market in a very good position and highly qualified in providing services and products.

Oxa Group is a shareholder of several companies that are involved in turn-key investment and construction industry, wood processing and furniture manufacturing industry, education, telecommunication industry, jewelry manufacturing and retail and wholesale.

Oxa Gruop was founded by the Hoxha family, where in 2003, the family established the first private elementary and high school The American School of Kosova, which was a breakthrough in the private business. Soon the family started investing in Real Estate Development, Construction, Furniture Manufacturing, Telecommunication, Hospitality, Information Technology. After growing rapidly in almost all industries, the Hoxha family decided to establish a holding company Oxa Group, that oversees all administrative and operational activities in all companies within the group.

In addition to the new members, during the meeting Benedikt Niemeyer was introduced as the honorary member of the Kosovo Manufacturing Club. Benedikt Niemeyer is currently an advisor at Niemeyer Capital Management. This company specializes in consultancy in the steel industry, metals and commodity investment, as well as in the management and development of technology. His main achievements are in the Schmolz + Bickenbach group, a company that is listed on the stock exchange and has grown since 2002 from a regional company with a small market presence in a world steel leader. During the time Niemeyer was part of the company, the total spending on purchases and investments during 2005-2008 was approximately € 1,050 million.

The purpose of KMC is to encourage discussion and cooperation between club members and state and private institutions to strengthen and promote local products as well as to raise citizens’ awareness of the quality of local products. In the future, the club will make membership of other manufactures, in accordance with the club’s statute.
