The Kosovo Manufacturing Club requests from the government of the Republic of Kosovo to enable the return of VAT for the purchase of local products and services.
Thus, all citizens of the country who buy local products or request local services will be refunded the entire value of VAT paid.
Such a move would encourage the purchase of local produce, stimulate consumption, and help workers in our factories maintain their jobs in this time of pandemic.
The support of local manufacturing companies and services is necessary especially now when many countries are supporting their local manufacturing companies.
Such a measure has been taken by Northern Macedonia, where citizens there during the weekend, have the opportunity to buy Macedonian products and services where VAT is returned to their accounts.
